Ever enjoyed dump cake, that “extreme” sweet cake/cobbler combo? It’s incredibly easy to make and so delicious, you’ll want to keep the ingredients on your staples list.

Ingredients: one can crushed pineapple (20 oz); one can cherry pie filling (21 oz); one box yellow cake mix; 1 ½ sticks butter, melted; ¼ cup chopped nuts (optional).

Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a 9 x 13-inch pan, dump the un-drained pineapples and spread. Next, spread the cherry pie filling as evenly as possible on top of the pineapple. Add the cake mix as the next layer, also spreading evenly. Drizzle the top of the cake mix with melted butter. Sprinkle with a layer of chopped nuts if you like. Bake about 45 minutes. No mixing and only one pan is used!
