This recipe is perfect for those times when you must satisfy that sweet tooth and there are only dibs and dabs of ingredients on hand.
Easy-going sugar cookies
Ingredients:
One stick of butter
½ cup sugar
¾ cup flour
¼ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
Cream together the butter and sugar.
Mix the dry ingredients together and then add to the creamed mixture.
Roll dough into small balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Do a criss-cross imprint with a fork (resembling a peanut-butter cookie).
Sprinkle tops of cookies with a little sugar.
Bake at 350 for no more than 10 minutes (until cookies are just lightly browned).
