Ingredients
2 (3 oz. each) boxes of same color of gelatin
2 (3 oz. each) boxes of another color of gelatin
2 envelopes of unflavored gelatin
1 (14 oz.) can of sweetened condensed milk
Water

Directions

  1. Boil 4 cups of water.
  2. Stir 2 cups of boiling water into the contents of 2 boxes of the same color gelatin.
  3. In a separate bowl, stir 2 cups of boiling water into the contents of 2 boxes of the other color of gelatin.
  4. Chill the bowls in the fridge overnight.
  5. Cut the set gelatin into small cubes.
  6. In a 9 x 13 pan, gently mix the small cubes together (keep the cubes whole)
  7. In a mixing bowl, pour ½ cup of cold water.
  8. Add the contents of the 2 envelopes of the unflavored gelatin on top.
  9. Allow this to thicken. May take a few minutes.
  10. While waiting, boil 1 ½ cups of water.
  11. Add the 1 ½ cups of boiling water to the unflavored gelatin mixture.
  12. Stir the sweetened condensed milk into the unflavored gelatin mixture.
  13. Let this mixture cool to room temperature. (important step)
  14. Pour the gelatin/milk mixture over the colorful gelatin cubes in the 9 x 13 pan.
  15. Chill overnight.
  16. The next day, cut the finished dessert into bite-size cubes.
  17. Marvel at the beauty.
