NORAD tracks Santa from the North Pole
December 24, 2007
NORAD satellites have identified Rudolph’s glowing nose and radar images confirm Santa has left the North Pole. NORAD is reporting all nine reindeer are pulling the fully-loaded sleigh. Santa’s first stop was somewhere near Russia.
When will Santa be in the St. Charles County area?
Liz at NORAD told sccworlds.com that Santa should arrive in our area between 9 p.m. and midnight. She said that children should “go to bed early.” When asked if Santa ever doubles back to homes where children were not asleep, Liz said that he may do so; but she again stressed the need for children to get to bed early tonight.
When we spoke to Liz at NORAD, at about 10:15 this morning, she told us Santa was over the Indian Ocean and traveling west. To track Santa’s path all day today and tonight, go to the NORAD website, www.noradsanta.org/en/home.htm. Click on “Kids Countdown” for some fun Christmas games. This website is addicting.
NORAD can be reached by phone at 877-446-6723 or email them at noradtrackssanta@gmail.com.
